Sam Quezada, MBA

Mr. Quezada co-founded CellSight Technologies with Drs. Sanjiv Gambhir and Shahriar Yaghoubi to commercialize molecular imaging technologies developed in Dr. Gambhir’s lab at Stanford University. With years of experience in startups and high-growth companies, he has recently managed IP and corporate relations at MIPS (Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford).

His executive roles have encompassed operations, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. At Cirrus Logic, his focus on customer needs and translating those needs into product delivery led to multi-million-dollar engagements with several clients. Mr. Quezada holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford University.

Jelena Levi, PhD

Dr. Levi holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Graduate Center, CUNY, earned under the mentorship of Dr. Klaus Grohmann. She launched her career in molecular imaging in the lab of Dr. Sanjiv Sam Gambhir at Stanford University. Dr. Levi's research focuses on the development of targeted imaging agents for cancer detection, immune cell visualization, and treatment monitoring.

Over the years, she has designed, developed, and evaluated a wide range of imaging agents, including small molecules, peptides, engineered proteins, and nanoparticles, for use in multiple imaging modalities such as PET, optical, and photoacoustic imaging.
